Virtual Visits
The single most important way to slow the spread of COVID-19 is through social distancing. This is true whether you are ill or well. For this reason, Amherst Pediatrics is now able to schedule Virtual Visits to allow you to stay home when you are sick, while still being "seen" by one of our providers. Before you can be seen in a Virtual Visit, there are a few important things you need to do.
Please review the Patient User Guide below, and follow the instructions before you schedule your Virtual Visit (click here to open the guide as a pdf document). You will need a smart phone or a tablet, and you will need to download the MyChart and Zoom apps before your first Virtual Visit. Please make sure you have the most current versions of both the Zoom and MyChart apps before starting your virtual visit.
>> Please note: after downloading the MyChart app, make sure to select PPOC as the organization (see last image below).
>> Children 13-17 years of age, must log in to the MyChart app themsleves, and a parent must be available to consent to the Virtual Visit
After downloading the MyChart app, make sure to select PPOC as the organization.
